I have added here the prezi but I couldn't add the video.
Introduction:
(Eloi)
Hello, we are Roger and Eloi. You probably
remember our presentation about sport’s injuries, and as you know we love
sports and we have had the opportunity to do this project about this curious
sport called Australian football or also known as footy or Aussie rules. We will do a little introduction about why
English is the main language in Australia, after that we will speak about
Australian football, the rules, the history and other things.
English
in Australia (Roger)
First of all we want to tell you the story
about why the Australians speak English, because, you know, we are doing this
project about something related with English speaking countries. Australia was
discovered by the Spanish and Portuguese crowns in the XVI century, but they never
installed there. Years later the Holland discovered with detail the geography
of the big island. Finally the Great Britain landed there, bringing all the
prisoners such as a solution of the overpopulation of criminals.
History:
(Eloi)
As early as 1841, there is documented
evidence of "foot-ball" being played. While the exact rules being
played in these matches are unknown they may have shared similarities and
influences with traditional football. In 1859 were created the first rules of the
Australian Football. The first official match was between Melbourne Grammar
School and Scotch College, which began on 7 August 1858.
Rules:
(Roger)
The ball has to be like a normal rugby ball
with oval shape. Are necessary 18 players each team and they play on a bit
strange field with the same oval shape as the ball. There are 4 posts on each
side of the field were the players have to score the goals shooting the ball
with feet. The field is 150 metres long. You can score a goal or a behind if
the ball goes between these posts. A goal counts 6 points and a behind counts
only 1 point. If the ball touches the two posts of the middle it counts only
one point, like a behind, and if the ball touches the two posts of the border it
doesn’t counts nothing. You can catch
the ball with your hands but you need to do it with your feet if you want to
pass the ball. The match duration consists of 4 quarters of 20 minutes.
Competitions:
The most important championship is the AFL
(Australian Football League). The league currently consists of 18 teams over
five states of Australia, although the majority are still based in Victoria
(currently ten teams). First of all, all the teams play each other in a
classical league and when they have finished this part of the competition, the
best eight teams do a playoff where one of the teams will be the champion. This
playoff is one of the most viewed sport events in the world, specifically the 4th
in the world, behind the NFL, the cricket Premier League and the Bundes League.
Around
the world: (Roger)
The Australian football is played such as
the national sport in Papua New Guinea and Nauru but is played too around the
world. For example in Catalonia there are some teams and a national team that
has played in some European competitions where in the last one it finishes
second after France.
Conclusion:
(Eloi)
This is all about Australian football, we
have to confess that we knew like all of you about Australian football,
nothing, but probably is this the reason why we chose this topic, because we
love sports and we wanted to know more about this particular sport. Always is a
little boring to do projects but we can say that we have learnt a few
curiosities and other things of a sport not very practised here and always is
good to learn new interesting things of another cultures and countries. We hope
you haven’t had a very bad time hearing us and if are there any questions you
can ask us. Thank you! ;)

I think that this was the worst part of my presentation because it’s difficult to look at the audience, and sometimes I used to watch the presentation, but not we had not any note in the prezi so it wasn't because I don't know my part.
