Zara have done the first breakthrough to get rid of
some hazardous chemicals in the following years starting with the global south
suppliers. Other brands like Nike, Addidas… have promised too to get rid of these
hazardous chemicals, following the example of Zara. This have started with the
announcement of a commitment to go toxic free nine days of Zara pressured by
the fashion lovers, denizens and activists of social media.
Opinion:
In my opinion it’s not important because is certain
that for a lot of people is important and because of the pollution but probably
the clothes will be more expensive since now because if until now all these
hazardous chemicals have been used is probably because they are cheaper than
natural products.
